Cross FAQs

How do you decorate Cross pens?
Laser engraving, almost always. The beam cuts the mark into the barrel, so it does not wear off where fingers hold the pen. Clean wordmarks and simple icons come out best; very fine detail can fill in at pen scale, and we will tell you before we run it. Cross standard decorated pricing already includes the standard logo engraving on models sold that way; additional operations and setup stay separate where they apply.
Do you offer free Cross logo mockups?
Yes. We put your company logo on Cross pens with laser engraving. Open any product page, use the free logo mockup tool, download a proof, then attach it to your quote.
What is the minimum order for custom Cross?
Each Cross style has its own minimum on the product page. Current active Cross minimums start at 24 pieces on many models and run higher by model (for example Calais at 50). You can combine eligible products in one quote. Style minimums still apply per line and are not waived by mixing products.
How fast can custom Cross ship?
When blanks are in stock, laser decoration is typically measured in days after art approval. We lock dates on the quote after we check Cross stock, not with a generic catalog promise.
Where is decoration done?
Cross pens are laser engraved in-house in San Diego. The mark is cut into the metal barrel, not embroidered, screen printed, or DTF transferred. A real person quotes turnaround after art approval and blank stock checks.
Can each pen be engraved with a different name?
Yes on supported models. Individual name engraving is a separate charge on top of your logo when offered. Send the list with your order and each one comes back personalized.
Which Cross pen should we buy for a client gift?
Townsend if the gift needs to feel like an occasion, Century II if you want the classic silhouette at a friendlier price, ATX if the recipients skew younger. Bailey and Calais sit in the middle and move volume for many programs.
Are these genuine Cross pens, and what about warranty?
Yes, real Cross product. Cross mechanical warranty terms vary by model; current Cross policy gives two years for Foundry, Lume, Prism, and Ashford, and engraving is not covered by Cross warranty. Decoration does not extend or replace Cross warranty coverage.
