Who we are

Encore Promotional Products makes custom branded merchandise: apparel, drinkware, bags, the stuff people actually keep. Our corporate office is in Las Vegas and our decoration shop is in San Diego, California, where we have been embroidering, engraving, and printing for more than 22 years.

This policy covers what we collect on encorepromo.us and what we do with it. We wrote it ourselves, in plain English, because we tried reading a few other companies' policies and could not finish them either.

What we collect

Only what the work requires. When you request a quote, we ask for your name, company, email, phone, and whatever you tell us about the project. If you send artwork, we keep the files so we can decorate with them. Once you become a customer we also hold shipping and billing addresses, your order history, and notes from our conversations: the embroidery thread color, the logo that needed to sit two inches higher, that kind of thing.

On the website itself we log basic browsing data. Pages visited, products viewed, roughly how you found us. Standard browser cookies, nothing exotic. Our quote and order emails include open and click tracking, which tells us whether a proof reached you or vanished into a spam folder.

Payments

There is no checkout on this site. You request a quote and a human replies. When you pay by card, we send a secure payment link processed by PayPal; your card number goes to PayPal, not to us, and we never see or store it. Invoices paid by check or ACH work the way they always have.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. It goes only to the companies that help us get your gear made and delivered. Shipping carriers (FedEx, UPS, USPS) get your name and address so the box reaches you and not your neighbor. Larger jobs sometimes involve a fulfillment partner for kitting and warehousing, and they get the order details they need to pack and ship, nothing more. The providers that host our website and database store data on our behalf and have no business using it for anything else.

If a court or government agency with actual legal authority demands information, we comply. We will tell you when we are allowed to.

Your rights

California residents have specific rights under the CCPA. You can ask what personal information we hold about you. You can ask us to delete it, subject to a few legal exceptions, tax records mostly. You can opt out of its sale, though since we do not sell it, that one is already handled. And we will never treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

Not in California? Ask anyway; we extend the same courtesy to everyone. Use the contact form, we will verify your identity as the law requires, and we will handle your request within the legal timeframe.

Security and retention

The site runs entirely over SSL, payment details stay with the payment processor, and access to customer records in our shop is limited to the people who need them. No system is bulletproof. We will not pretend ours is, but we work at it.

We keep your information while you are a customer and for as long as tax and order-record laws require. After that we delete it or strip out anything that identifies you.

Children

We sell to businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16, and if we find out a child has given us personal information, we delete it.

Changes and how to reach us

When this policy changes in a way that matters, we update the date at the top and, where it makes sense, tell you directly.
